| The Universal Community Development Organization (UCDO) conducted training on Peacebuilding and Good Practice Approaches in February, 2026,for government officials and community representatives from Efratanagidim Woreda.\r\nThe training brought together representatives from local government offices, religious leaders, elders, women and youth associations, and persons with disabilities. The initiative aimed to strengthen the capacity of local leaders and service providers to promote peace, prevent conflicts, and deliver conflict-sensitive services within their communities.\r\nDuring the training, participants discussed key concepts of peacebuilding, conflict prevention, good governance, and community-based reconciliation approaches. The sessions also emphasized inclusive participation, ensuring representation of women, youth, and persons with disabilities, and encouraging collaboration between government structures and community groups.\r\nAs a result of the training, participants enhanced their knowledge and practical skills to promote social cohesion, support vulnerable groups, and contribute to sustainable peace and stability in their communities.\r\nThis activity is implemented by UCDO with the financial support of the European Union and coordination of Welthungerhilfe, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen community resilience, inclusive governance, and peacebuilding in Efratanagidim Woreda.\r\n |
