Who We Are
About UCDO
UCDO was established in 2022 with the vision of seeing children, youth, and women empowered economically, socially, and culturally to live with dignity and resilience. As a federally registered civil society organization, UCDO operates throughout Ethiopia, prioritizing interventions in education, child protection, livelihoods, conflict prevention, and emergency humanitarian response.
UCDO applies a Human Rights-Based Approach (HRBA) to ensure that the rights, needs, and voices of marginalized populations are at the center of all its programs. By addressing gender inequality, youth exclusion, and barriers faced by people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups, UCDO strives to promote inclusive and sustainable development across the country.
