Universal Community Development Organization (UCDO) Successfully Conducts Project Closing Workshop

UCDO successfully organized a Project Closing Workshop that implemented in Efratanagidim Woreda, marking the completion of its 18-month project titled “Access to Rights and Conflict Prevention in Times of Crisis.” The workshop brought together 40 participants representing woreda government sector offices, kebele representatives, community groups, youth, women, and persons with disabilities.\\r\\nThe event served as an important platform to present key achievements, share lessons learned, and reflect on the collective progress made in strengthening social cohesion, promoting human rights, and enhancing community resilience. Participants from various sector offices and kebeles actively engaged in discussions, highlighting the positive impact of the project at the community level.\\r\\nDuring the session, stakeholders expressed their appreciation for the meaningful support provided throughout the project period. They extended their sincere gratitude to the donor, the European Union (EU); the coordinating partner, Welthungerhilfe (WHH); and the implementing organization, UCDO, for their commitment and contributions to improving the lives of vulnerable communities over the past 18 months.\\r\\nParticipants also reaffirmed their strong commitment to sustaining the achievements of the project. They emphasized the importance of continued collaboration among government institutions, communities, and partners to maintain peacebuilding efforts and protection services. Furthermore, they expressed their readiness to expand similar interventions to unreached kebeles in the coming years.\\r\\nUCDO remains dedicated to working in partnership with stakeholders to promote inclusive development, strengthen local capacities, and ensure sustainable impact for communities in need.\\r\\n
